"The River" 2009

Our annual trip to the St. Lawrence River was really a peaceful trip this year.  Uneventful - very quiet.  But not a moment went by when the our minds didn't wander to you and your uncle Calvin.  I honestly believe that when we are at the River we are the closest to you that we can be.  I know that Isabel felt Uncle Calvin's presence when she was fishing.  You were there in the breezes that we felt and in the rays of sun that shown down on all our faces.

 

How blessed we all are to have had you for such a short time and to have felt such a great love and it is a love that never falters and can only grow stronger.

 

My memories of you grow and grow as I see you in so many things that I do.
